Apple Pie Biscuits

 




Ingredients:


1 can of buttermilk biscuits

1 can apple pie filling

½ cup butter, melted

½ cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon

⅛ teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:


Step 1: Preheat Your Oven


Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Prepare the Biscuits


Separate the buttermilk biscuits.

Press each one gently to flatten slightly, ensuring even cooking and making space for the apple filling.

Step 3: Add the Apple Filling


Spoon about 1–2 tablespoons of apple pie filling onto the center of each flattened biscuit.

Avoid overfilling to prevent the apples from spilling out during baking.

Step 4: Bake Until Golden


Place the filled biscuits on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and puffed.

Step 5: Make the Glaze


While the biscuits are baking, prepare the glaze.

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.

If the glaze is too thick, add a small splash of milk to thin it.

Step 6: Drizzle the Glaze


Once the biscuits are out of the oven, allow them to cool for about 5 minutes.

Drizzle the cinnamon-sugar glaze generously over each biscuit, letting it drip down the sides.

Step 7: Serve and Enjoy


Serve the apple pie biscuits warm for the best flavor and texture.

For extra indulgence, pair them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
