Old Time Oven Peach Cobbler

 


Ingredients:


1 large can of sliced peaches, drained


1 cup Bisquick mix


1 cup milk


1/2 tsp nutmeg


1/2 tsp cinnamon


1/2 cup butter, melted


1 cup sugar


Vanilla ice cream, optional


Instructions:


Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).


In an 8×8-inch baking dish, combine the Bisquick mix, milk, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Stir the mixture until it is thoroughly combined. Add the melted butter and mix well.


In a separate medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the sugar and drained sliced peaches. Mix well.


Spoon the peaches evenly over the cobbler crust in the baking dish.


Bake the cobbler for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the crust turns a golden brown.


Remove the peach cobbler from the oven and let it cool slightly.


Serve your old-time oven peach cobbler warm, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
